Sandbox gaming…

Sandbox… A type of game play that didn’t exist at one point (you may be old enough to remember that; if not, don’t despair; you missed out on the dark ages of gaming). There came a game called Grand Theft Auto, which featured a top-view 2d game play system that was originally supposed to be a cops and robbers type chase game. But the developers came to an epic conclusion in those dark days of gaming: cops were boring in a game, but hooligans, thugs, robbers, and organized crime figures are insane amounts of fun; literally! What came next was a game that allowed shoot-outs, blowouts, and incredible auto and explosive rampage; and then it happened; the game evolved. That’s right; it grew legs, and walked onto the beach, stood up and howled at the moon; GTA 3 was born. What came next, was an unheard of amount of mods for GTA 3, GTA IV, and their expansion packs, and GTA: San Andreas. You could literally fly a helicopter, base jump off a skyscraper, and ram your car, truck, bike, motorcycle, or up-armored vehicle into practically anything. Your imagination is essentially the only limiting factor, and with GTA V coming in spring 2013; I can’t even begin to think the amount of fun (or trouble depending on you view) I will be having when GTA V is released.
